Tracks for Training Business and Life Coaches

The Coach Training Program currently offers two tracks for students to choose from in completing their coaching program:

• The Entrepreneurial Professional Coach Track:
  trains students to become professional life coaches, to enroll clients, and to develop business strategies that ensure they are able to set up and sustain a successful coaching practice.
• The Internal Organizational Coach Track: includes a webinar in “Coaching for Organizational Change” and working with a mentor coach to tailor a project that demonstrates coaching proficiency in the student’s workplace.

Life and Business Coaching Certification

Our Coach Training Certification Package combines on-site workshops and seminars with specific webinars, mentor coaching, group coaching sessions and an audio curriculum. Coaches are trained to guide their clients to: recognize their core intentions and values, create plans and strategies to attain what they truly want, go beyond their preconceived limitations, take effective action toward their goals, and realize these goals with clarity and ease.

The Academy Coach Training Program requires completion of the following components in order to become a Certified Coach:

Academy Core Courses:

The Academy Core Courses are the foundation of the Coach Training Program. Face-to-face and rigorous, they ensure maximum professional training in convenient and concentrated time periods. Coach participants discover a wealth of skills, techniques and methods for fostering excellence in themselves and others. The core coaching courses are open to everyone whether or not there is a desire to apply to the Coach Training Program. (Read more about our core coaching course below.)

The Coach Training Certification Package:

A comprehensive and rigorous 12-24 month Coach Training Program. Our coaching certification package combines training in powerful principles and specific tools with hands-on experience.

Mentor Coaching:

Even coaches need to be coached. Students in the Academy Coach Training Program are required to arrange 90 minutes of coaching each month with an Academy approved mentor for the duration of their certification program.

Coaching Hours:

Student coaches must demonstrate their coaching expertise by accumulating 125 coaching contact hours in either Track I or Track I and/or a minimum of 50 hours of direct coaching experience in Track II.

Core Courses Offered:

Mastering Life’s Energies:

Business and life coaches learn the fundamental principles of working with the six most important forms of energy in life – money, time, physical vitality, creativity, enjoyment, and relationship. Participants will learn how to direct these energies specifically toward making their vision and ideas a reality.

Empowering Life’s Energies:

Learn to apply the six most important forms of energy to those around you – your clients, patients, students, work team, colleagues, network of friends, family and community. As a result of you taking this course, the people around you will experience uncommon ease as they consider and then they accomplish goals that are important to them.

Advanced Coaching:

This course is beneficial whether you are working in the corporate world or if you would like to enhance your life coach skills. Both coaching situations require strong interpersonal and communication skills to meet the needs of clients and those we interact with. How to Lead a Successful Group:

This course will teach you how to lead productive and financially rewarding coaching groups. You will be given specific skill sets to lead groups that are creative, resilient, and successful. These skills are applicable to staff meetings, sales teams, church groups, coaching groups, or any meeting in which people are gathered for a particular outcome or function. You will also see how to talk about the possibility and promise of coaching groups in such a clear way that your groups fill easily and quickly.
